Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8/11/2026
Lead Slugger (“Lead Slugger,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides paid search and digital marketing services to home improvement companies. This policy explains what information we collect through [www.leadslugger.com] (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices available to you. This Site and our services are directed at businesses and business representatives, not individual consumers, and this policy should be read with that in mind.
1.1 Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact or quote-request form, we collect what you enter — typically name, company name, job title, business email, phone number, and any details you share about your business or project.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we (and our analytics and advertising providers) automatically collect technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and general location inferred from IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from advertising platforms. If you arrive at the Site through a Google Ads campaign, Google may share limited conversion and campaign-performance data with us — for example, that a form submission followed a click on a specific ad. We use this to measure and improve our own advertising, not to build a profile of you as an individual.
1.2 Cookies and tracking technologies
We use:
- Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site (traffic sources, pages viewed, time on page).
- Advertising conversion tracking (including Google Ads and Meta advertising), to measure whether ad clicks lead to form submissions.
- Call tracking, which may record and analyze phone calls that result from the Site to help us measure ad performance and improve how we handle inquiries.
- Email marketing platform, to send follow-up and marketing emails to people who’ve submitted the form or otherwise opted in.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function, but the Site will remain usable.
1.3 How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to inquiries and quote requests
- Evaluate whether your business is a fit for our services
- Send you marketing or follow-up communications, where you’ve provided consent or as otherwise permitted by law
- Measure and improve the performance of our own advertising campaigns
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
- Comply with legal obligations
1.4 How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site or run our business — for example, hosting providers, email/CRM platforms, and analytics or advertising platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads). These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lead Slugger or others.
- In connection with a business transaction — if Lead Slugger is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
1.5 Data retention
We retain business contact information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain our client and prospect records, and meet our own legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. You can request deletion at any time (see 1.7).
1.6 Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
1.7 Your choices and requests
You may:
- Ask what information we hold about your business and its representatives
- Ask us to correct or delete that information
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly
To make a request, contact us at info@www.leadslugger.com. Because our services are B2B, requests are handled at the discretion of applicable law rather than under a specific consumer privacy statute — if your organization is subject to GDPR, CCPA, or another framework and that changes how a request should be handled, let us know when you contact us.
1.8 Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
1.9 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
